Having practiced and refined my observational skills with naturalistic looking works  over many years I now feel justified in giving more freedom of expression to my deeper territories of interest. The subject of speciesism has always been at the core of my personal ethos, before ever I knew it was a thing. My aim is to have an upfront discourse with this subject and it’s ramifications through the various media of my creative processes.

I recently discovered an author: Gareth Howell-Jones, who articulates my own philosophy more eloquently than I ever could in his short books Don’t Call the Tortoise and Your Lowly Hedgehog Knows. We’ve never met or spoken.
